Yes. We know there is a shortage of homes for rental and for sale. FIXER UPPERS When available, existing houses for sale in Sanderson are still inexpensive
compared to urban prices. Most were constructed prior to 1960 and many are
pre-war. There are few typical newer 3/2 homes. A few custom homes and
rental housing are under construction. There is a need for spec homes
under 1500 sf and under $100,000, but none are under construction at this
time. Prices increased considerably over the past 24 months (as predicted
by this web site and the tax assessor) based on completion of the sewer
system and expansion of the Border Patrol.
However, existing home prices appear to have reached a plateau
consistent with needs and absorption of potential buyers. FOR SALE BY OWNER
